Warranty, Terms and Conditions of Sale

Definitions
The Company or We or Us mean JJWEI CORPORATION. The Customer or you, means the person who buys or agrees to buy goods from the company. |

Product Specifications and Item/Inventory Conditions
At JJWEI.com, we recognize your right to understand what you are buying, so we have created an inventory condition scale that will help you make an informed purchase decision. Whether you have a discriminating client, a mission critical project, or a budget challenge, our goal is to help you find the right combination of price and condition. We sell items in various conditions. Please be aware of the item condition we specify in "What you will get" section of the item details. Please also note our definition of Item Condition with the following Terms:
1. NEW RETAIL
- Original retail packaging, intended for individual resale
- Servers qualify when fully and completely packaged in original box
- Accessory boxes will be sealed typically
- Broken box seal is acceptable if inner unit is firmly sealed
- All manuals , software, cables, tapes and accessories have to be included
- Tape drive kits include tapes and cables
- Hard drives, processors, Raid, and memory typically contain very few accessories
2. NEW OPEN BOX
- Original retail packaging, intended for individual resale
- Same general packaging as NEW RETAIL, but with allowance for opened box and / or opened accessories
- Overall impression should be that item is a new product, typically open box returns, not needed or not suitable for the original customer for some reason, and returned to merchant
- We will test unit if it is accessible
- All manuals, software, cables, tapes and accessories have to be included
- Tape drive kits include tapes and cables
- Hard drives, processors, Raid, and memory contain very few accessories
3. NEW
- Main product is sealed in original internal bag or box
- Item will be lacking full packaging, and will typically not include manuals, software, cables, tapes and accessories
- Tape drives will be sealed in the anti-static bag
- Hard drives will be sealed in the anti-static bag
- Memory will be sealed in the anti-static bag
- Processors will be sealed in the anti-static bag
- Raid cards will be sealed in the anti-static bag
4. NEW BULK
- Main product is known with certainty to be of new condition in terms of time of use and all appearances
- Typical source will be:
- Items pulled from upgraded new machines
- Items pulled from configured machines
- warranty replacement parts
- Item must be fully operational, physically and cosmetically perfect, with no damage or markings
- Item will be lacking full packaging, and will typically not include manuals, software, cables, tapes and accessories
- Tape drives will be tested, cleaned, and resealed in an anti-static bag
- Hard drives will be tested, cleaned, and resealed in an anti-static bag
- Memory will be tested, cleaned, and resealed in an anti-static bag
- Processors will be tested, cleaned, and resealed in an anti-static bag
- Raid cards will be tested, cleaned, and resealed in an anti-static bag
5. REFURBISHED
- Manufacturer Direct Refurbished
- Original retail quality packaging, with orignial manufacturer part number label, and serial number
- Servers, when fully accessorized and completely packaged in original box
- Components, sealed in anti-static bag are also acceptable for this category
- All manuals , software, cables, tapes and accessories have to be included
- Tape drive kits include tapes and cables
- Hard drives, processors, Raid, and memory contain very few accessories
6. USED
- Item must be fully operational with no significant damage or markings
- Item will be lacking full packaging, and will typically not include manuals, software, cables, tapes and accessories
- Tape drives will be tested, cleaned, and resealed in an anti-static bag
- Hard drives will be tested, cleaned, and resealed in an anti-static bag
- Memory will be tested, cleaned, and resealed in an anti-static bag
- Processors will be tested, cleaned, and resealed in an anti-static bag
- Raid cards will be tested, cleaned, and resealed in an anti-static bag
7. SCRATCH and DENT
We apply a high standard to items that we consider used. When an item is not physically or cosmetically acceptable to us, or we are concerned that it might not be acceptable to you, we categorize it as “Scratch and Dent”. Examples:
- Incomplete servers, missing minor or major components
- Cracked or broken levers, handles, cases, doors, scratches, or dents
- Servers may have a dented corner on the case or faceplate
- Unacceptable markings or labeling, Hard drives get written on, Tape drives sometimes lack door flaps.
Things happen! This category gives us a chance to talk about it with you, and we can find out together if it will work for you. The pricing will be exceptional! Item will often be lacking full packaging, and will typically not include manuals, software, cables, tapes and accessories. Servers will be tested and corrected as much as possible, and damage or missing component noted. Tape drives, hard drives, memory, processors, and Raid cards will be tested, cleaned, resealed in the anti-static bag with damage or missing component noted.
8. As-is BROKEN or SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGED Who would want a bad hard drive? Or a failed processor? We have requests all the time, and these products may provide parts you need! This category includes failed memory, failed processors, failed hard drives, and failed tape drives. Items are guaranteed to be NON-FUNCTIONAL, but perhaps you can use the parts! Ask us what is wrong with the item, and if it can meet your particular needs. Product may be is untested and sold as is. Product may or may not be functional. No return or refund is allow on sold as-is items. Product sold in "As is" condition is not covered under any warranty.
We warrants that the goods will be at the time of delivery correspond to the description given by us. It is the responsibility of the customer to check the compatibility and suitability of goods for any particular purpose before ordering. The company hereby reserves the right to make without notice such minor modifications in specifications, designs or materials, as it may deem necessary.
Warranty & Returns
A 14-day exchange warranty is applied to all products sold by JJWEI unless otherwise stated in Item Description (sold-as-is items, etc). We will either replace the defective item(s) or refund payment at our discretion if no replacement parts are available. After the initial 14 days, please contact manufacturers for warranty services in applicable.
Please note, SCSI and RAID are complicated and sometimes could be frustrating. Incorrect configurations and bad compatibility are the major sources of non-working SCSI system. We guarantee our products are not defective, but that doesn't guarantee you will not have any problem in your installation and usage. If you return a "defective" product which turns out in working order, a 15% fee will be charged and the product will be sent back to you at your own cost. All sales are final and we don't take returns for working products (non-defective) sold. Please refer to our "how to troubleshoot problems" in FAQ sector for basic troubleshooting tips.
In addition to any manufacturers warranty all products, except consumables and input devices, are covered by our own 14 days after delivery warranty. If you wish to return any faulty item you must first contact us and obtain a RMA Number. Before returning anything to us, you first must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) by filing a RMA request. A RMA is valid for 14 days. Once a RMA is obtained, you should return the merchandise at your own cost via a traceable shipping method. We won't be responsible for the loss or damage of returning goods. You must email us with the RMA and tracking number as returning proof.
A 25% restocking fee will be charged on all returns. You may return any merchandise purchased on-line through JJWEI.com within 14 days of purchase, provided that the return meets the guidelines described below.
Any returns mailed to us without a pre-approved RMA number may be refused without notice, automatically returned, and a handling fee assessed. All returning goods should be shipped back to us via a traceable shipping method as returning proof.
The serial number of the returned merchandise must match our record in order to qualify for any refund. Otherwise, the merchandise will be sent back to you at your own cost.
You will be responsible for all shipping and insurance charges for returns, unless otherwise indicated. If you choose not to insure your package, you will be responsible for any loss or damage. Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in it original condition in conformity with this policy, we will issue the refund to your PayPal account or credit card if you used them for payment, or otherwise we will send you a company check. Allow 30 days (not including delivery time for mail refunds) from when we accept your Product for the processing of your credit. Additional charges may be assessed for Products returned with any missing items such as manuals and/or accessories. Also note that shipping/handling fee is not refundable.

Payment
The Company’s normal terms of business are for all payments to be made before despatch of goods. The contract will be deemed as active once the company has received payment in full.

Shipping
Customers will be given an estimated date of despatch when placing orders. If these dates are exceeded the company will endeavour to keep customers informed of the delay and an expected new delivery date. If at this point we are unable to agree a new delivery date with the customer the customer has the right to cancel.

Delivery
Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and the company shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer. Normal delivery of all stock items will be 2 to 3 days for domestic shipping. Overnight delivery is acceptable upon request from customer at extra cost. It usually takes 5-7 days to deliver International packages via USPS Global Priority Mail or USPS EMS. It might taker much longer to ship to some countries due to the customs clearance. It is recommended that you use Fedex or UPS or Air borne Express if need the item in a timely manner.

Damages and Shortages
The customer shall report any damage or shortage to the company and the carriers in writing within 7 working days of delivery. All items must be checked before signing a proof of delivery from the courier if damage is present this must be written on the proof of delivery. Provided prompt notice of transit damage or loss is given and provided it is proved to the company's satisfaction that such damage occurred in transit in the US but not otherwise, the company will refund, repair or replace such equipment free of charge to the customer. this does not effect your statuary rights as a consumer.

Complaints
Any complaints must be reported to the company by e-mail or in writing We endeavour to respond to all complaints within 5 working days. At this point we will give a clear outline of any action that we will need to take and confirm a time scale to resolve any such complaint we expect all complaint to be delt with within 28 days.

JJWEI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE OR FOR LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA OR SOFTWARE. CUSTOMER AGREES THAT FOR ANY LIABILITY RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES, JJWEI IS NOT LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF DAMAGES ABOVE THE AGGREGATE DOLLAR AMOUNT PAID BY CUSTOMER FOR THE PURCHASE(S) UNDER THIS AGREEMENT.
