Up for sale is a 256MB cache memory and BRAND NEW battery upgrade kit for LSI Megaraid 320-2 scsi card, or dell perc4/dc. Most of the 320-2's and dell perc 4's have 128MB or 64MB ram with battery backup unit attached to the back side of the memory DIMM. There is a very important advantage to have the battery mounted on the card instead of it being mounted on that special stick of 128 MB ram. You can upgrade to a full 256MB of ram with a regular ECC PC100 SDRAM Memory DIMM to take full advantage of what the dual channel Ultra 320 Raid Controller is offering. |
